I am Brian Oliver, a passionate Gaffer from Cape Town

With two decades of dedicated experience as a gaffer, I have led lighting setups on a wide range of productions—from feature films and commercials to cutting-edge virtual productions. My deep industry relationships and hands-on approach ensure seamless collaboration and high-impact results. I stay ahead of evolving lighting technologies to deliver tailored solutions that meet each project’s unique demands.

Each day presents a new canvas for me and the team to create new visions. I love the art as well as the technical side of telling a story with light. I'm equally comfortable with old school big sets and lights as well as the new school lightweight agile way of working with LEDs, Wireless DMX, and app based workflows.
